European Development Days and the United Nations 2030 Development Agenda
15-16 June 2016, Brussels

The European Development Days (EDDs), Europe’s leading forum on development and cooperation, took place on 15-16 June in Brussels. Organised by the European Commission, the forum which attracts 5,000 people from 140 countries and 1,200 different organisations every year, brought together the development community to share ideas and experiences that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

The 10th anniversary edition of EDDs focused on the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, an ambitious set of 17 goals adopted by the world leaders last September in New York, which will guide policy and funding for the next 15 years to end poverty, combat climate change and fight injustice and inequality.

UNICRI joined the United Nations entities in Brussels to present its action in the framework of the 2030 Agenda.
