Talent Garden, Turin, Italy, 3 June 2020. The Digital Demo Day of the fifth edition of Innovation 4 Change (I4C) will take place on 3 July. Developed by Collège des Ingénieurs Italia, Politecnico di Torino and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) Ideasquare in 2016, Innovation 4 Change has become one of the major Italian innovation projects based on the collaboration with companies, institutions and non-profit organizations.
The programme involves 50 young talents who are working together for new ideas to shape the future. During this intensive, 5-month programme, the participants develop innovative and scalable business ideas and practical solutions to respond to the important challenges presented by the partners, that are always related to social, economic and environmental problems of today. Eight projects, responding to as many challenges, were inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This year, the sustainable development challenges are launched by Autostrade per l'Italia, CNH Industrial, DSM, Enel X, Iren, Regione Puglia, Scuola Italiana di Ospitalità and UNICRI. The challenges addressed in the current edition aim to find solutions to global problems in the field of energy, food, safety, and tourism.
The challenge proposed by UNICRI is on how to address social media vaccines misinformation and regain public trust during an outbreak deliberately caused by biological agents.
News of 2020 is that the programme benefits from the valuable support of Enel Foundation, the first knowledge partner of I4C, and of the storytelling school Scuola Holden.
