The International Book Fair of Turin is the main event in Italy dedicated to books, reading and culture: Europe’s largest book fair open to both specialist visitors and the general public.
In figures: five pavilions, 51,000 square metres of exhibition area, 23 conference rooms, over 1,400 publishers, 600 of which international, 800 conferences, 2,000 speakers, more than 2,000 accredited journalists and 304,000 visitors in five days.
The appointment with the Fair is in May every year at Lingotto in Turin: the former Fiat plant with the spiral ramp and roof-top track. The 2008 International Book Fair will be held from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 May.
