The European Forum for Urban Safety is a European NGO established in 1987, which brings together about 300 European local authorities with the aim to build up a network to strengthen crime reduction policies.
On its website you can find several interesting publications on such issues, most of them freely downloadable.

In particular, a training manual on immigration and community safety issues has been recently published. The title is Immigration and Prevention: A Training Manual for Local Actors and it is downloadable at the following link:

The main purpose of this manual, that represents the work of a network of cities and experts, is to support local actors in improving public administrations' relations with immigrants, particularly in the field of prevention and community safety policies.

Urban Crime Prevention Policies in Europe: Towards a Common Culture?
represents an interesting publication, presenting and comparing crime prevention policies and practices in eight European countries with a special focus on the role and involvement of the local, regional and national levels.
