The Healthy Nightlife Toolbox has been designed for local, regional and national policy makers and prevention workers, to help reduce harm from alcohol and drug use among young people. The project aims to disseminate information on high quality interventions in nightlife settings, provide a resource for relevant academic literature, and encourage the exchange of knowledge about drugs and alcohol prevention in nightlife settings via an online forum. In addition, the toolbox contains a digital handbook of good practice for drugs and alcohol prevention in nightlife settings, and contact details of experts who can provide advice and guidance when planning intervention projects.
The project website has been launched in November 2009.
