Training Manual on Trafficking in Human Beings in Peace Support Operations

Following the first Training Manual of 2004, the present Training Manual is targeted to international law enforcement personnel participating in Peace Support Operations (PSOs), and aims at improving information and awareness of the problem and creating and bolstering anti-trafficking capacities in order to counter organised crime and criminal networks involved in Trafficking in Human Beings in peace support mission areas.
The proposed training material addresses the trafficking situation in PSOs in the South-East Europe. Nevertheless, the manual can be used as training program for all members of other current and future PSOs. It also includes an up to date list of relevant international, regional and domestic legislation; an accurate description of the NGOs working on the field; a brief report of the situation of the country/areas of PSO; and a further list of bibliography on the topic, including UN and other international or regional organisations' reports as well as author books and articles.
