ABSTRACT |
The book tells the story of one of the most infamous Sicilian Mafia bosses, Bernardo Provenzano. From the humble origins in the city of Corleone to the mafia wars in the 1980s, from the deaths of Falcone and Borsellino to the arrest of Totò Riina, the book traces the history of the forty three years Provenzano spent as a fugitive, hiding in a sheep farm near Corleone until he was finally arrested in 2006. Bernardo Provenzano was convicted in his absence of twenty one murders and was given three life sentences. |
