NATIONAL REPORT ON DOMESTIC MINOR SEX TRAFFICKING: AMERICA'S PROSTITUTED CHILDREN |
|
ABSTRACT |
The National Report on Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking deals with the commercial sexual exploitation of American children within US borders. The Report is the culmination of ten field assessments conducted by Shared Hope International in targeted locations in the United States, providing a comprehensive understanding of child sex trafficking across America. The report adopts the “three P’s” approach, analyzing the dimension of Prevention of trafficking and sexual exploitation, the Prosecution of traffickers and buyers, and the Protection of victims. The last part of the report indicates seven “steps forward” to be taken in the next few years in order to effectively tackle the phenomenon of child trafficking in the US. |
