International Criminal Law Defence Seminar
Tackling the fundamentals of international criminal law defence

Turin, 5 May 2014. The Seminar, organized in cooperation with the Office of the Public Counsel for the Defence of the International Criminal Court, presents a unique opportunity for lawyers interested in the practice of international criminal law whether in national or international courts, in addition to those who work with organizations involved in this area. Consisting of lectures and practical exercises, the Seminar tackles the fundamentals of international criminal law defence. The Seminar also presents the opportunity to interact with practicing defence counsels from the International Criminal Court and other international tribunals and to associate with other lawyers and practitioners attending this seminar from different countries of the world.

At the end of the Seminar, participants receive a United Nations certificate of participation. Applications close on 6 April 2014.
